(Hong Kong, 23 December 2020) The 2020 International Electronics Circuit Exhibition (Shenzhen) was held successfully on 2-4 December at Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center (Futian) in Shenzhen, China. Jointly organized by Hong Kong Printed Circuit Association (HKPCA) and China Printed Circuit Association (CPCA) with the theme of “5G Era．Smart Future”, the Show displayed the leading PCB production solutions and technologies, helping industry explore more business opportunities under the 5G era.
The annual flagship event with industry elites and busy atmosphere
As the world’s most influential and representative PCB and electronic assembly trade show, the Show featured 431 exhibitors from 11 countries and regions. They took up 2,890 booths in a massive 52,500 sq.m in Halls 1, 2 & 4 of Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center (Futian) in Shenzhen. This premier event attracted trade visitors and recorded a total of 48,234 visits in three days. The “Virtual Exhibition”, which was run concurrently with the physical event, also received favourable response. Despite the current severe economic environment and the challenge of pandemic, the show was able to achieve such a good results. This not only demonstrated the show’s influences in the industry, but also reflected the confidence of the industry on the future development.
Concurrent conferences give delegates inspired ideas to boost their future business
The 15th Electronic Circuits World Convention (ECWC15) and International Technical Conference were also held successfully during the Show. The conferences gathered market specialists and industry experts to share their valuable insights on the latest market trends and technologies.
The 15th Electronic Circuits World Convention (ECWC15)
The Electronic Circuits World Convention (ECWC) is the international PCB symposium hosted by members of World Electronic Circuits Council (WECC) every three years. Stepping into the 15th edition, the ECWC15 was hosted by the Hong Kong Printed Circuit Association during 30 November to 2 December. The event was held online, while the Conference on the third day (2 December) was staged at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center in conjunction with the International Electronics Circuit Exhibition (Shenzhen).
The ECWC15 gathered industrial giants and experts around the world to discuss hot issues in the industry, including selection of PCB materials for 5G, testing optimization solutions, manufacturing technology, assembly solutions, high-frequency and high-speed signal applications, new equipment technology, solutions for quality improvement, the latest global market trends, industry standard, industrial 4.0, smart production, quality management solutions, wearable electronic product applications, automotive technology, and energy saving and emission reduction programs. International Technical Conference
The conference gathered senior management and technical experts to share the latest market trends, research and innovative technologies. Delegates were highly impressed and shared that the conference provided them with the practical knowledge and ideas to boost their future business and to cope with challenges in the industry and transform their business to a new level. The Show featured the latest PCB production solutions and technologies driven by 5G. It was divided into 7 thematic zones, including Equipment Supplier, Smart Automation Pavilion, Green Pavilion, PCB Manufacturer, Electronic Assembly, Japan/Korea Pavilion and Materials Supplier, covering the latest products and technologies of the whole supply chain in PCB and EA industry. The vibes on the exhibition floor was bustling and the response from exhibitors and visitors were encouraging. They all recognized the Show as the leading trade show and the premium information exchange platform.
